Precinct Connect is a flagship project launched in 2025 in Lake Macquarie City Council Local Government Area.

CELL acts as a virtual hub for businesses to interact to seek connection and collaboration in the region.

Utilising placebased network, CELL strives to increase business community support and ideas for placebased solutions.

Precinct Connect is a collaborative network launched by the Circular Economy Living Lab (CELL) to connect local businesses, organisations, researchers and innovators across Lake Macquarie and the Hunter region.

By bringing together industry, government, and community, Precinct Connect helps identify opportunities to reuse resources locally, share knowledge, and pilot circular solutions that benefit both the economy and the environment.

Through networking events, case studies, and project collaborations, Precinct Connect fosters a thriving regional circular economy — one that reduces waste, strengthens local supply chains, and showcases the innovation already happening in our backyard.
